Hey guys! Hey guys! Guess what? IT’S HALLOWEEN! Halloween is by far my favorite holiday. I love the atmosphere, the decorations, the paper ghosts and plastic witches. I love the cool air, the long nights, the brown crunch of newly fallen leaves. And I love seeing people dressed in costume! Halloween is often primarily associated with being the “scary” holiday. And sure, it is that. But it’s also the North American holiday with the strongest sense of play to it. It’s fun to go out all dressed up! It’s fun to stay up late and eat a whole bunch of candy! It can even be fun to be scared sometimes, when you’re doing it in a safe place with friends. Halloween encourages us to transgress a little, and it encourages us to do so from a place of joy. That’s why I love this time of year.
Anyway, October’s been a busy month for me besides the normal Halloween excitement. I tabled at Canzine a few weeks ago, which was a total blast. Got to hang out with a lot of old friends while tabling, and met some new ones too! Among the wares I had for sale at the show was a new mini about collectible card games called Magical Cards, as well as a new version of my Dungeons and Dragons mini. Both of them are now available in my online shop, so feel free to check them out!
More news and updates soon. In the meanwhile… Happy Halloween!
